(in no particular order..)
Jan Johnson – Actor

When not performing or stage managing, Jan can be found pouring tea and coffee and ushering patrons to their seats.

Diane Abbott – Director / Actor
…a seasoned performer and comedienne, Di has performed at the Pavilion Theatre, Castle Hill and Pymble Players. She relishes ‘maids and tea lady parts’.. but her modesty prevents her from telling what we all know – that she is a great actress and comedienne… who does happen to make an excellent cup of tea !

Stephen Comey – Actor
….is one of the founding members of the group and like all other members of RAL, has previously worked with the Pavilion Theatre and Castle Hill Players. A Silver Logie winner with over 34 years of professional credits under his belt, Steve feels that RAL is a highlight of his career.

Marc Kay – Actor

On television, Marc has been a guest star on such shows as All Saints, Big Sky, A Country Practice and Double the Fist.

Annette Dix – Actor
Originally from Wollongong, Annette was brought up on American and British TV and films, but in those days, was too shy to pursue any form of acting career.
It wasn’t until she moved to Sydney in 1984 and attended a drama course at the WEA that she became hooked.
She then completed the Graham Corry School of Acting Course where she studied voice production, movement and stagecraft. Annette was cast as Mother Basil, a nun, in the hilarious final year production of ‘Once A Catholic’. This was the start of her love for comedic roles.
Just give her a script…

Phil Lye – Actor
A Coogee boy who came late to performance, first appearing in 1999 at the Castle Hill Pavilion Theatre. He appeared in a Pavilion Theatre production of the play “Hamp”, a WW1 court martial drama, which called for thirteen men, and only twelve turned up for the audition…
Phil has performed for companies across the Greater Sydney. His favourite plays include Noises Off as a comedy, and Our Town as a drama.

Mary Dennison – President
My love of theatre started with degree studies in Film, Television & Theatre in WA. Sound was my particular love, which ultimately meant a move into the Film Industry for the better part of 35 years. My partner and I retired from our beloved Post Production Studio in Screen Australia, ending our team’s run with an AACTA award for Top of the Lake – having worked with Jane Campion on this, and her feature Bright Star. Other films included Looking for Alibrandi, The Sum of Us, Paperback Hero, and Romulus My Father. Some TV credits were Sea Patrol, Blue Murder, All Saints, Murder Call, Young Lions and Willing & Abel. My love of radio, as a medium came from broadcasting Arts on Sunday for 2SER and being on the original steering committee for 2RRR. I have life membership to Cinema Pioneers for 25 years working in film.
Having been part of the inception of Radio Active Live all those years ago, it is an honour to be invited back in to contribute some web design, admin and Chair for this fine team of talented individuals.
